The ductile iron threaded flange PN16 is an engineered pipe fitting designed for robust integration into potable water distribution networks, industrial piping systems, and utility installations. Manufactured from high-grade ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 in compliance with EN 545 standards, this fitting functions as a blind reducing flange equipped with a central internal female thread (2 inches BSP). Surface protection is provided by an electrostatic powder epoxy coating applied to a minimum dry film thickness of 250 µm in accordance with EN 14901, finished in characteristic sky blue RAL 5015. This comprehensive coating system seals all ductile iron surfaces against aggressive soil chemistry, atmospheric moisture, and microbiological corrosion, ensuring extended service life with zero maintenance requirements. The coating is certified compliant with WRAS and ACS sanitary standards for safe contact with drinking water across an operating temperature range of 0 degrees to 80 degrees Celsius.
