The BLUCAST ARVVV series threaded ball check valve is a heavy-duty non-return valve engineered for reliable backflow prevention in water supply, wastewater pumping stations, irrigation networks, and industrial piping installations. Manufactured with a ductile iron body (EN-GJS-400-15), this valve combines mechanical strength with robust corrosion resistance, operating reliably at nominal working pressures of 10 to 16 bar (PN10/PN16) and media temperatures from 0 up to 80 degrees C.

Engineered around a free-floating, elastomer-encapsulated internal ball, the ARVVV design provides an unobstructed, full-bore flow path when media is in motion. During normal flow, the ball is displaced completely clear of the waterway into the valve chamber, resulting in minimal head loss and preventing sediment or suspended particulate accumulation. When forward flow ceases, backpressure guides the ball smoothly back onto its precision-machined seat, establishing a rapid, bubble-tight seal with zero water hammer shock.

Corrosion protection is provided by an electrostatic powder epoxy coating applied across internal and external ductile iron surfaces to a minimum dry film thickness of 250 micrometres in accordance with European utility standards (RAL 5015 sky blue). Female threaded connections conform strictly to the EN 10226-1 standard (BSP parallel/taper), enabling rapid integration into threaded steel, ductile iron, brass, or plastic piping systems across sizing dimensions ranging from 1 inch through 2 inches.

Installation is versatile and supports both vertical upward flow and horizontal piping layouts. The accessible top cover plate, secured with stainless steel fasteners, permits inline inspection, cleaning, or ball replacement without unthreading the valve body from the pipeline, minimizing system downtime during scheduled facility maintenance routines.
