The ELGEF Plus reduced tee kit in PE100 is an engineered electrofusion solution designed by Georg Fischer for creating branch connections in pressurized water and gas distribution networks. Rated for SDR11 pipe systems, this comprehensive kit accommodates nominal working pressures up to 16 bar for water applications (in compliance with EN 12201) and up to 10 bar for combustible gas utility piping (conforming to EN 1555). The set combines an equal electrofusion tee or spigot fitting with an ELGEF Plus electrofusion coupler and a calibrated spigot reducer, offering a fully coordinated system that streamlines branch reduction while maintaining joint integrity.

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (PE100 virgin resin, RAL 9005 black), the assembly exhibits exceptional resistance to ground movement, dynamic pressure surges, and aggressive soil conditions. The electrofusion components feature standard 4 mm connector pins and integrated limited-path fusion indicators that provide clear visual feedback upon completion of the welding process. Smaller sizes incorporate integral pipe fixation mechanisms to prevent axial movement and misalignments during clamping and heating cycles.
