The GF Piping Systems ELGEF Plus equal tee kit in PE100 is an electrofusion branching solution engineered for high-integrity municipal and industrial utility networks. Manufactured from 100% virgin compounded PE100 resin, this 90-degree equal tee assembly provides a reliable, permanent connection for pressurized potable water, industrial processing, and natural gas distribution infrastructure. Designed to operate at nominal pressures up to 16 bar for water systems and 10 bar for combustible gas conveyance, the fitting complies strictly with EN 12201-3 and EN 1555-3 manufacturing standards.

Each tee kit is delivered as a comprehensive assembly featuring an integrated or matched ELGEF Plus electrofusion coupler or reducer, guaranteeing precise component alignment and optimal melt flow during installation. The fitting incorporates standardized 4 mm welding pin terminals compatible with automatic electrofusion control units. For dimensions up to d63 mm, integral pipe fixation mechanisms hold the pipe securely in place without requiring separate external clamping tools, preventing movement during the heating and cooling phases. Embedded heating coils ensure uniform heat distribution across the weld zone, while limited path fusion indicators provide visual confirmation of completed fusion cycles.

PE100 polyethylene provides superior resistance to chemical attack, environmental stress cracking, and biological growth, eliminating the internal corrosion and scaling risks inherent in traditional metallic piping. With a material density of approximately 0.95 g/cm³, a tensile modulus of 900 N/mm², and high Charpy impact strength of 83 kJ/m² at 23°C, the fitting accommodates ground movement, traffic loads, and hydraulic transients over an estimated design lifetime exceeding 100 years.
