Manufactured from decarburised annealed whiteheart malleable cast iron grade EN-GJMW-400-5 in strict accordance with EN 10242 Design Symbol A specifications, the casting provides exceptional ductility, tensile absorption, and microstructural uniformity that reliably prevents brittle fracture during thermal cycling or mechanical pipe stresses. The entire body is protected through a hot-dip galvanizing process using high-purity molten zinc, establishing multilayer iron-zinc alloys crowned by a pure outer zinc barrier that ensures superior adhesion, outstanding atmospheric and fluid corrosion resistance, and complete chemical safety without polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, fulfilling strict drinking water sanitary directives. All three connection ports are equipped with precision-cut parallel internal jointing threads (Rp) compliant with EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, establishing metal-to-metal flank contact that creates an impervious seal when tightened with taper external threads and compatible jointing compounds.
