Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard check valve type 562 is an advanced cone check valve engineered from high-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) for demanding chemical processing and high-purity fluid handling. Built for seamless integration into industrial piping systems, the valve features metric butt fusion spigots compatible with conventional butt fusion according to DVS 2207-15, IR Plus infrared fusion, and BCF Plus bead and crevice free welding. The robust thermoplastic housing delivers outstanding mechanical rigidity, high tensile strength, and exceptional long-term reliability under severe operating conditions.

Engineered with a spring-loaded closing mechanism, the valve incorporates a durable 1.4310 stainless steel spring that ensures a 100% leak-tight seal in the idle and closed state regardless of mounting orientation, operating reliably in both horizontal and vertical pipe runs without requiring hydrostatic head pressure. The internal return cone is flow-optimized and double-guided, effectively eliminating flutter and ensuring vibration-free performance even under high flow velocities and sudden flow reversals. Fitted with high-grade FKM elastomeric seals, the valve body matches the compact face-to-face dimensions of the Type 546 ball valve series, allowing uniform layout engineering and effortless radial assembly and disassembly via the integrated union nut design.

Manufactured in accordance with ISO 10931, the SYGEF Standard PVDF material offers an expansive operating temperature rating from -20 degrees up to +140 degrees Celsius and a PN16 pressure rating. The ultra-smooth inner surface finish (Ra ≤ 0.5 µm) minimizes biofilm formation, particle accumulation, and pressure drop. Resistant to severe mineral acids, oxidizing agents, halogens, and high-temperature DI water, the Type 562 check valve satisfies stringent requirements including FDA CFR 21 177.2510 compliance, USP 25 Class VI physiological non-toxicity, ASME BPE criteria, DIBt, and FM-4910 fire safety cleanroom listing. It is ideally suited for chemical distribution lines, pharmaceutical purified water (PW/WFI), semiconductor manufacturing, and industrial water treatment systems.
