The Georg Fischer ecoFIT Type 561 PVC-U check valve with PE100 SDR11 spigots provides reliable non-return flow control in industrial thermoplastic piping systems where backflow prevention is critical. Engineered with a durable PVC-U valve body and extended PE100 spigot ends, the valve allows seamless integration into polyethylene pipe networks via conventional butt fusion according to DVS 2207, infrared welding (IR Plus), or electrofusion. Operating without an internal mechanical spring, the closing mechanism relies on a gravity-assisted, flow-optimized return cone that is double guided along its axis. This double-guided cone geometry maintains continuous axial alignment, eliminates jamming or cocking during cycling, and ensures completely vibration-free non-return operation even under elevated flow velocities. The hydrodynamically refined internal flow passage delivers low pressure loss across all diameters from d20 up to d110 (DN15 to DN100), with robust nominal pressure resistance rated up to PN16. Configured specifically for vertical pipeline installation in ascending flow orientations, the unit features true-union modular ends for rapid, non-destructive radial mounting and demounting during maintenance routines. High-integrity sealing is achieved through chemically resistant elastomer seals available in EPDM or FKM compounds, maintaining bubble-tight shutoff against backpressure. With a compact overall laying length identical to the Georg Fischer Type 546 ball valve series, Type 561 enables straightforward layout interchangeability within pre-engineered skids, chemical distribution networks, water treatment plants, and industrial utility lines.
