The Georg Fischer ecoFIT PE100 flange adaptor is an injection-moulded industrial component designed for transitioning between PE100 piping systems and flanged equipment such as valves, pumps, flow meters, or metallic pipelines. Dimensioned for SDR17 and SDR17.6 piping assemblies, this adaptor operates reliably at a nominal pressure rating of 10 bar (PN10) for water and industrial media at 20 degrees Celsius. Available across outside diameters from d20 mm up to d110 mm (nominal diameters DN15 through DN100), it provides a dimensionally stable, stress-crack-resistant flanged interface manufactured in strict compliance with EN ISO 15494 and DIN 16963-11.

Engineered with a combined flat and serrated jointing face, this ecoFIT stub end guarantees optimal surface compression against flat gaskets while accommodating counter-flanges configured with O-ring grooves. For secure mechanical bolting, the adaptor pairs seamlessly with Georg Fischer PP-steel and PP-V loose backing flanges (product numbers 27 70 02 and 27 70 04), ensuring uniform bolt-load distribution without distorting the thermoplastic shoulder. Sealing is accomplished using standard EPDM profile gaskets (product number 48 44 07) or high-chemical-resistance FKM profile gaskets (product number 49 44 07). The socket connection end is prepared for standard socket fusion jointing, producing a continuous, leak-tight homogenous weld across industrial network installations.

Manufactured entirely from virgin high-density polyethylene resin (PE100), the adaptor demonstrates exceptional resistance against aggressive chemical substances, including dilute acids, caustic solutions, abrasive slurries, and saline fluids.
