The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard Type V86 pressure retaining valve is engineered from high-grade β-PP-H for industrial chemical process and water treatment systems. Designed with metric butt fusion spigots compatible with infrared (IR) welding, the valve maintains constant upstream operating pressure, dampens pulsations, and eliminates pressure peaks. The spring-loaded piston mechanism lifts automatically when inlet pressure exceeds the adjustable setpoint to release excess pressure downstream. Featuring robust chemical resistance and high hydrostatic stability compliant with EN ISO 15494, it provides reliable inline pressure control.
