Engineered with butt fusion spigots calibrated for SDR 17.6 piping, this valve integrates a true double union construction matching the standardized installation length of Georg Fischer Type 546 ball valves. Fabricated from high-grade beta-PP-H (isotactic polypropylene homopolymer), the valve body delivers exceptional resistance against chemical degradation, stress cracking, and elevated temperatures.

At the core of the Type 562 is a hydrodynamically optimized, double-guided return cone engineered to minimize pressure drop and eliminate turbulence. An integrated V2A stainless steel spring (grade 1.4310) provides continuous closing bias, enabling position-independent mounting in either horizontal runs or vertical rising pipelines. Unlike conventional gravity-dependent non-return valves, the spring-assisted mechanism guarantees 100 percent leak-tight closing even in static states without hydraulic backpressure.
