The Georg Fischer type 92 reducing elbow provides a reliable 90-degree directional change and dimensional transition between female and male threaded connections across industrial, utility, and building service piping installations. Standardised according to EN 10242 and ISO 49 under design symbol A4, this street elbow is engineered with an internal parallel thread (Rp) on the reduced port and an external taper thread (R) on the mating end, both adhering strictly to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1 standards. Pressure-tight sealing is achieved directly within the threads through the precise metallic taper-to-parallel thread engagement supplemented by suitable jointing media. Cast from premium decarburised annealed whiteheart malleable cast iron EN-GJMW-400-5 in compliance with EN 1562, the fitting exhibits superior mechanical strength, robust ductility, and solid resistance against operational vibrations and thermal stress. The component is rated for a maximum permissible working pressure of 25 bar across fluid operating temperatures ranging from -20 degrees to 120 degrees Celsius, maintaining dependable pressure integrity up to 20 bar at temperatures reaching 300 degrees Celsius. Offered in both black finish with a temporary anti-corrosion protective film and hot-dip galvanised execution featuring uniform high-purity zinc adherence suitable for drinking water installations, the fitting delivers long-term durability.
