Manufactured by Georg Fischer, the Fig 321 malleable iron screwed flange provides an undrilled flanged connection designed for versatile mechanical integration, component interfacing, and custom piping terminations. Engineered from high-grade decarburised whiteheart malleable cast iron conforming to EN-GJMW-400-5 under Design Symbol A, the fitting features a precision-machined internal parallel thread (Rp) according to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1 to establish a stable, pressure-tight joint when assembled with compatible male pipe threads. The circular face is supplied solid and undrilled without factory bolt patterns, providing technicians the fabrication flexibility required to machine custom pitch circles and specialized hole layouts directly on-site to match non-standard machinery, tanks, or proprietary equipment. Rated for a nominal pressure of PN 1 bar, the fitting incorporates an integral raised hub that reinforces the threaded socket against axial stress, mechanical vibration, and bending moments.
