The Georg Fischer type 127 electrically actuated ball valve provides automated On/Off flow control for industrial piping systems, cooling circuits, chilled water loops, and water treatment plants. Manufactured from impact-resistant Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), this automated assembly combines the proven Type 546 valve design with an advanced EA15 electric actuator. Engineered for demanding industrial environments, the assembly is rated for nominal operating pressures up to 10 bar (PN10) at 20 degrees Celsius. The ISO Rp parallel female threaded sockets allow direct mechanical connection into existing threaded pipework without solvent cement, ensuring dependable isolation and superior chemical durability.

Actuation is provided by the compact Georg Fischer EA15 electric actuator powered by a 24V AC/DC supply. Housed in a glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) enclosure with IP68 protection, the actuator is fully protected against dust ingress and water submersion. An integrated heating element prevents internal condensation during thermal fluctuations, making the unit ideal for chilled water and cooling lines. A factory-preset 90-degree rotary angle governs opening and closing, complemented by a manual emergency override for commissioning or power loss. Continuous position feedback is ensured via mechanical indicators and integrated auxiliary switches.

The valve body features a smooth internal bore that resists encrustation and minimizes pressure drops. The precision ABS ball operates against low-friction PTFE seats, ensuring reduced operating torque and extended service life. High-grade EPDM seals deliver bi-directional leak-tight sealing under full system pressure. To isolate the actuator from pipeline stresses, the base includes integrated stainless steel threaded inserts.
