The Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) iJoint 90-degree tee with threaded male off-take is a high-performance polypropylene compression fitting designed for branching polyethylene (PE 80, PE 100, PEX, and PEX-a) piping systems into male-threaded BSP/ISO 7-1 connections. Engineered for robust hydraulic performance in municipal water supply, service lines, and industrial distribution systems, this fitting enables fast, reliable branching without requiring disassembling of the nut or chamfering of the pipe ends.

Manufactured from high-grade, UV-stabilized polypropylene impact copolymer (PP-B), the fitting provides outstanding mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and long-term aging stability in accordance with ISO 9080. Internal retention is achieved through an engineered polyacetal (POM) grip ring that delivers superior pull-out resistance against water hammer and axial tensile forces. The sealing mechanism features a factory-lubricated, food-safe EPDM lip gasket engineered to guarantee optimal hydraulic sealing even on ovalized, undersized, or scratched pipe surfaces.

Rated for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar (PN16) across an operating temperature range of -10 °C to +45 °C, the iJoint male threaded tee conforms to ISO 17885, DIN 8076, and EN 12201 standards. The male branch thread complies with DIN EN 10226 (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) taper standards, allowing direct connection to threaded valves, manifolds, pumps, or metallic equipment.
