The Georg Fischer WAGA MULTI/JOINT 3187 Plus is a high-performance wide-range tensile-restraint spigot adaptor designed for critical water, wastewater, and gas transport pipelines. Engineered specifically for connecting diverse pipe materials with outside diameters ranging from 84 mm to 105 mm to a reduced 110 mm spigot end, this fitting provides a robust, leak-free transition capable of handling operational pressures up to PN16 (16 bar). It eliminates the need for complex multi-component adapters, streamlining maintenance, repair, and new pipeline integration across utility and industrial piping networks.

Manufactured from high-grade ductile iron EN-GJS-450-10 (GGG 45), the fitting body ensures maximum structural integrity and mechanical resistance against operational surges and soil loads. Corrosion protection is delivered via a factory-applied Resicoat RT 9000 R4 fusion-bonded epoxy coating with a minimum layer thickness of 250 microns, complying with stringent GSK guidelines and offering superior resistance to chemical attack between pH 2 and pH 13. High-grade stainless steel AISI 316 (A4) Uni/Fikser gripping teeth provide progressive mechanical tensile restraint on plastic, steel, ductile iron, and cast iron pipes without damaging pipe surfaces.

The MULTI/JOINT 3187 Plus accommodates an angular deflection of up to 8 degrees per socket, compensating for pipeline ground settlement and axial misalignment during assembly. Fasteners feature an integrated Lubo anti-friction dry coating to eliminate thread galling during torque application, allowing smooth installation and long-term service reliability in both underground and aboveground infrastructure.
