The Georg Fischer DIASTAR Ten ABS pneumatic diaphragm valve with FC (Fail Safe to Close) actuation provides dependable automated process isolation and flow regulation across demanding industrial environments. Engineered around an optimised body geometry, the DIASTAR Ten delivers up to double the flow coefficient of previous valve designs, significantly lowering pressure loss and improving operational energy efficiency. The unit conforms to the EN 558 standard for face-to-face dimensions, facilitating straightforward integration and interchangeability in planned or existing metric pipework. The robust valve assembly eliminates conventional multi-bolt bonnet patterns by utilizing a single high-strength central housing nut. This innovative design ensures uniform radial compression across the EPDM diaphragm, extends service life, and permits swift actuator servicing without removing the valve body from the pipeline.

Manufactured from ductile, impact-resistant acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) in RAL 7001 gravel grey, the valve body withstands continuous working pressures up to 10 bar (PN10) across sizes d20 to d63 (DN15 to DN50). The pneumatic actuator features a corrosion-proof glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) housing and includes an integrated control air supply port (G 1/8 inch to G 1/4 inch) rotatable at 90 degrees intervals for flexible air line routing in tight skid layouts. Metric spigot ends ensure seamless solvent cement jointing with metric ABS pressure pipes and fittings using dedicated Tangit ABS adhesive, guaranteeing a permanently sealed, maintenance-free connection.
