The Georg Fischer DIASTAR 6 pneumatic diaphragm valve in unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) is designed for automated flow isolation and modulating control in industrial piping systems. Operating with a fail-safe-to-close (FC) pneumatic mechanism, the valve shuts reliably upon loss of control air pressure, safeguarding process installations against uncontrolled fluid release. Engineered for an operating pressure of 6 bar at 20 degrees C, the unit covers dimensions from d16 mm to d63 mm (DN10 to DN50). The internal fluid geometry provides up to double the flow volume compared to previous valve designs, substantially minimising system pressure drops and reducing continuous pumping energy costs.

Manufactured with a high-grade PVC-U body in dark grey (RAL 7011), the DIASTAR 6 offers proven chemical resistance against aggressive acids, alkalis, and saline media across chemical distribution and water treatment plants.
