The Georg Fischer Type 546 Pro pneumatic ABS ball valve with double-acting (DA) actuator is engineered for demanding flow automation in industrial piping systems. Actuation is driven by a pneumatic double-acting PPA actuator enclosed in a rugged, corrosion-proof glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) housing. The actuator operates at a control pressure of 5.6 bar and features an integrated NAMUR interface compliant with VDI/VDE 3845 for direct mounting of pilot solenoid valves and position indicators. The valve body incorporates low-friction PTFE ball seats and resilient EPDM seals, ensuring low operating torque, bubble-tight shut-off, and extended cycle life under continuous industrial cycling.

The valve body is configured with metric ISO solvent cement sockets from d16 up to d110, delivering a nominal pressure rating of PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees Celsius). Integrated stainless steel threaded inserts in the base allow direct, vibration-resistant mounting to pipe supports without distorting the valve housing.
