The Georg Fischer Type 595 ABS ventilating valve provides reliable automated pipeline venting and vacuum protection across industrial distribution networks, water treatment facilities, and chilled water cooling systems. Designed for a maximum working pressure of PN10 at 20 degrees Celsius, this compact valve automatically vents entrapped air during pipeline filling and operating cycles while rapidly admitting air during pipe drainage or pump shutdown to eliminate the risk of vacuum collapse.

Engineered from ductile and impact-resistant Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), the Type 595 valve is specifically configured for metric pipeline installations ranging from outer diameter d16 up to d110 (nominal sizes DN10 through DN100). The assembly incorporates a true-union construction that facilitates fast radial installation, routine inspection, and seamless maintenance without dismantling adjacent pipe segments. Jointing is completed via solvent cement sockets using Tangit ABS adhesive.

Internal sealing is achieved through high-performance EPDM elastomeric gaskets that ensure bubble-tight closure even at low differential pressures. The integral internal spring mechanism features a specialized HALAR protective fluoropolymer coating, delivering superior corrosion resistance against aggressive industrial media and ambient exposure. Mechanical integrity is further reinforced by a robust protective cap manufactured from glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) for sizes DN10 to DN50, and polyoxymethylene (POM) for sizes DN65 to DN100.
