The Georg Fischer ecoFIT Type 565 PE wafer-style butterfly valve with manual gear operator is an industrial flow control solution engineered for reliable isolation and throttling across high-capacity piping networks. Designed specifically for large-diameter polyethylene systems, this valve is available in dimensions d355 mm and d400 mm, delivering dependable operation under a nominal working pressure of PN10 (10 bar). It is suited for industrial water treatment, municipal distribution, cooling circuits, process piping, and desalination facilities where corrosion resistance and long service life are essential.

Constructed with a high-density polyethylene (PE100) disc and an EPDM profile gasket, the Type 565 ensures bubble-tight bi-directional shut-off alongside chemical resistance against aggressive process water, saline solutions, dilute acids, and alkalis. The integrated manual gearbox provides an optimized mechanical advantage, allowing smooth, low-torque operation while preventing hydraulic water hammer during opening and closing cycles. The standardized ISO 5211 interface (flange type F14) enables direct mounting of electric or pneumatic actuators for plant automation.
