The Georg Fischer SYGEF ECTFE SDR21 PN10 union is an engineered detachable three-piece piping connector designed for high-purity fluid handling and aggressive chemical conveyance in industrial installations. Manufactured entirely from premium ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene thermoplastic, this fully assembled component comprises a precision-molded ECTFE union bush, an ECTFE union end, an ECTFE union nut, and an elastomeric FKM black sealing O-ring, with chemically resilient FFKM seals available on request. Engineered to SDR21 dimensional standards with an operating pressure rating of PN10 (10 bar), the union features standardized spigot ends fully prepared for infrared (IR) fusion jointing as well as conventional butt fusion, ensuring clean, crevice-free transitions with optimal flow geometry. The standardized O-ring seating geometry maintains reliable radial and axial sealing under tight mechanical tolerances when torqued, eliminating risk of leakage and resisting media permeation. ECTFE material architecture delivers exceptional chemical inertness against concentrated acids, harsh alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, and corrosive solvents, paired with high mechanical rigidity, impact resistance, and elevated temperature endurance. The three-piece union mechanism facilitates rapid inline assembly, straightforward decoupling, and modular servicing of valves, instrumentation, and process equipment without necessitating cutting or destructive disassembly of the surrounding welded pipeline. Spanning metric diameters from d20 mm (DN15) to d63 mm (DN50), with wall thicknesses between 1.9 mm and 3.0 mm and union nut connection threads from G 1 inch to G 2 3/4 inches, the fitting integrates flawlessly into industrial SYGEF ECTFE process networks.
