Fabricated from unpigmented, high-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), the valve configuration leverages a pneumatic actuator that utilizes compressed air to actively drive both opening and closing strokes, delivering balanced cycle speeds and exact throttling across the flow path. The compact DIASTAR Ten platform features a flow-optimized internal body geometry compliant with the face-to-face overall length standard EN 558, providing up to double the flow rate compared to previous generations to minimize pressure loss across the line. A central single-housing nut replaces conventional four-screw bonnet assemblies, distributing uniform mechanical compression across the PTFE/EPDM diaphragm boundary, preventing localized stress concentrations, and drastically reducing downtime during inspection or diaphragm replacement. For maximum integration flexibility inside dense industrial skids and distribution manifolds, the actuator incorporates a pneumatic control air connection that can be rotated at 90-degree intervals. The robust PVDF body exhibits outstanding chemical resistance against aggressive oxidizing acids, halogens, solvents, and deionized water across an operating temperature envelope spanning from -20 degrees Celsius to 140 degrees Celsius. Produced with smooth internal surfaces compliant with stringent purity standards, the assembly prevents particle deposition and media contamination. Designed for metric socket fusion jointing, the valve ensures permanent material continuity and leak-free performance during demanding hot water sanitization, steam, chemical cleaning, and ozone cycling routines.
