The Georg Fischer 565L PVDF/PA-GF pneumatic double-acting lug butterfly valve is engineered for flow isolation, throttling, and automated control in industrial piping networks. Designed for water treatment, industrial processing, and chemical distribution, this automated valve combines mechanical strength with exceptional chemical inertness. The unit features a virgin polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) disc paired with a glass-fiber reinforced polyamide (PA-GF) body, offering superior resistance against aggressive acids, alkalis, oxidizers, and corrosive environments.

Actuation is driven by a double-acting (DA) pneumatic actuator manufactured from reinforced polyamide, executing a 90-degree stroke in 1 to 2 seconds. The pneumatic actuator utilizes air pressure for both opening and closing cycles, ensuring high operational reliability and fast response in automated loops. Built with a standard ISO 5211 connection interface, the drive assembly ensures optimal alignment with the stem, reducing operating friction and extending the operating lifespan of sealing components.

The lug body incorporates integrated stainless steel threaded inserts, compliant with standard EN 558 and ISO 5752 face-to-face dimensions. This construction enables direct installation between piping flanges or at the end of a line, allowing downstream dismantling under full system pressure without draining upstream piping. System integrity and zero-leakage isolation at PN10 nominal pressure are maintained through resilient EPDM or FKM elastomeric liner seals.
