The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard DIASTAR TenPlus FC pneumatic diaphragm valve provides fail-safe shut-off and high-precision throttling in demanding chemical processing, ultrapure water distribution, and aggressive industrial fluid systems. Configured with a fail-safe-to-close pneumatic actuator, the valve utilizes integrated spring assemblies that instantly drive the diaphragm into the closed position upon control air pressure loss, preventing hazardous media escape and maintaining process integrity. The flow-optimized valve body design doubles the flow rate compared to predecessor designs, significantly cutting hydraulic resistance and pressure drop across the internal weir. Built with a true union jointing system featuring metric fusion sockets for socket fusion welding across sizes d20 to d63 mm, it allows rapid radial installation and servicing without requiring disassembly of adjacent pipework. Mechanical assembly is streamlined by an innovative single central housing nut that completely replaces conventional multi-bolt bonnets, guaranteeing uniform circumferential diaphragm clamping pressure, eliminating leakage paths, and expediting seal inspections. The actuator features a pneumatic control port capable of rotating at 90-degree increments, delivering complete flexibility when routing pilot air tubing inside congested valve boxes and cleanroom skids. Engineered with a robust polyvinylidene fluoride body and high-grade PTFE diaphragm supported by elastomeric backing, the assembly withstands bidirectional working pressures up to 10 bar across service temperatures between -20 degrees and 140 degrees Celsius. The non-leaching PVDF material provides outstanding chemical inertness against concentrated acids, halogens, and aggressive sanitization agents including hot deionized water, steam, and ozone.
