The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard DIASTAR Ten DA pneumatic diaphragm valve provides precise, double-acting flow control across industrial chemical processing and high-purity water treatment installations. Manufactured with a high-grade isotactic beta polypropylene homopolymer (β-PP-H) valve body and metric SDR11 spigots, this unit regulates aggressive fluids under nominal working pressures up to 10 bar (PN10). The valve operates via a compact double-acting pneumatic actuator housed in flame-retardant glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PPGF), delivering dependable actuation cycles and expanded flow geometry across pipe dimensions from d20 to d63 (DN15 to DN50).

Engineered to optimise system longevity in harsh chemical environments, the construction incorporates a central union nut connection that eliminates exposed metal bolts. This design protects the assembly against external atmospheric corrosion and acidic ambient fumes while simplifying on-site maintenance and component replacement. The integrated double-acting actuator achieves virtually twice the flow capacity of previous actuator series, minimising pressure drops across the pipeline. Furthermore, the housing features an integrated optical position indicator for clear visual feedback and an adjustable pneumatic air supply port that rotates 90 degrees to accommodate tight spatial constraints.

The SDR11 butt fusion spigots support both conventional butt fusion and contactless infrared (IR) fusion joining methods, ensuring high-integrity, crevice-free pipe connections with consistent weld beads. Internal sealing configurations utilise interchangeable EPDM or PTFE/EPDM diaphragms, offering exceptional chemical resistance to industrial acids, bases, and abrasive media over a 25-year operational service lifespan at 20 degrees Celsius.
