The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard ball valve type 546 Pro is an industrial PP-H true double union valve engineered for chemical and water treatment piping systems. Manufactured from β-PP-H with PP-Steel backing flanges, it features low-friction PTFE ball seats with EPDM or FKM elastomeric backing seals for constant operating torque. The design integrates a safety stem with a predetermined breaking point, buttress union threads, and a standard lockable lever. Integrated stainless steel inserts allow rigid support mounting. It maintains full dimensional Z-length compatibility with 1st generation Type 546 and facilitates direct electric or pneumatic automation.
