The Georg Fischer ecoFIT PE100 union in SDR17 pressure class (PN10 bar) provides a high-integrity, demountable connection for industrial fluid distribution, process loops, data centres and advanced cooling infrastructure. Designed for integration within polyethylene piping networks, it allows quick assembly, straightforward maintenance and component replacement without cutting the line. Available in d75 (DN65), d90 (DN80) and d110 (DN100), the union combines mechanical endurance with proven chemical resistance across a broad spectrum of industrial media.

Manufactured from high-grade virgin PE100 resin, the union end spigots are fully compatible with conventional butt fusion welding in accordance with DVS 2207, as well as with contactless IR Plus® infrared welding. IR Plus delivers superior repeatability, reduced weld bead geometry and optimised cycle times, which suits critical process environments. The assembly includes a heavy-duty union nut in glass fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF), providing structural rigidity, creep resistance and thread stability under continuous mechanical and thermal stress. Sealing is handled by an EPDM O-ring gasket with excellent elastic recovery, ozone resistance and thermal endurance in water treatment, chilled water loops, brine lines and general industrial utilities.
