The Georg Fischer PP-H DIASTAR Ten FC pneumatic diaphragm valve provides process control for industrial chemical distribution, water treatment plants, and surface treatment installations. Engineered with an unpigmented or grey isotactic PP-H (polypropylene homopolymer) body and an impact-resistant glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PPGF) actuator housing, this compact unit delivers dependable isolation and throttling across aggressive media. Operating in Fail Safe Close (FC) mode, the valve relies on an internal preloaded galvanized steel spring set that automatically closes the line upon loss of control air pressure, securing process integrity and preventing uncontrolled chemical discharge.

The valve architecture incorporates union ends with SDR11 metric spigot connections designed for high-integrity butt fusion welding into industrial thermoplastic piping networks. A central housing nut secures the actuator directly to the valve body without exposed metallic bolts or screws, eliminating external atmospheric corrosion risks in aggressive, acid-laden environments. The integrated pneumatic control interface includes an air supply port that can be indexed at intervals of 90 degrees, offering flexible pneumatic tube routing even in confined skid layouts or congested valve manifolds. A high-visibility optical position indicator mounted atop the actuator provides immediate visual confirmation of the open or closed state.

Manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 16138 standards, the DIASTAR Ten FC is rated for operating pressures up to 10 bar (PN10) across nominal pipe sizes from d20 to d63 (DN15 to DN50). Diaphragm configurations include high-grade EPDM, FKM, and dual-layer PTFE/EPDM to match specific chemical concentrations, oxidizers, and operating temperatures.
