The PP eccentric reducer HTR is engineered for non-pressure domestic soil, waste, and interior drainage installations, as well as ventilation stacks across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Designed to execute smooth, flow-efficient diameter transitions between pipe segments from 40 mm up to 160 mm, the eccentric geometry maintains a continuous bottom invert level in horizontal gravity drainage runs, preventing stagnant flow zones, solids accumulation, and air lock formation. Manufactured by injection moulding from polypropylene in compliance with SR EN 1451-1, the fitting features a pre-assembled socket connection fitted with a factory-installed EPDM elastomeric sealing ring alongside a spigot end. This push-fit jointing method ensures immediate, hermetic sealing against water and sewer gases without the use of chemical solvents or specialized welding equipment, while simultaneously accommodating linear thermal expansion and building vibrations as a flexible expansion compensation joint. Operating reliably across a broad thermal range, the component withstands continuous fluid temperatures of 60 degrees Celsius and intermittent surges up to 95 degrees Celsius, while maintaining impact resistance without cracking at low temperatures down to minus 15 degrees Celsius. The inert polypropylene material provides high chemical resistance to aggressive media across a pH spectrum of 2 to 12, resisting concentrated household detergents, alkaline wash waters, and aggressive acidic solutions. Combined with a low internal surface roughness represented by a Manning coefficient of 0.01, the reducer prevents encrustation and clogging, guaranteeing hydraulic efficiency and a dependable maintenance-free operational life cycle exceeding 50 years.
