The PVC-U eccentric reducer SN8 SDR34 is an unplasticised polyvinyl chloride fitting engineered for dimensional transitions in buried gravity sewer systems and external stormwater drainage networks. Manufactured for non-pressure underground infrastructure subject to heavy traffic loading, this ring stiffness class SN8 (8 kN/m2) eccentric fitting maintains a flat invert line across pipe diameter transitions, preventing sediment accumulation, fluid stagnation, and turbulence at reduction points. The component integrates a factory-fitted elastomeric EPDM rubber sealing ring within its precision-formed socket, creating an immediate, watertight, and flexible push-fit joint against smooth spigot pipe ends that absorbs ground movements and thermal axial expansion without compromising joint integrity. Featuring a nominal diameter range extending from d200 mm up to d710 mm, this SDR34 reducer provides seamless hydraulic continuity between varied pipe sizes in domestic, municipal, and industrial wastewater networks. Its smooth internal bore delivers superior hydraulic flow performance with minimal flow resistance, resisting incrustation, biological fouling, and solid deposits even at low self-cleansing velocities.
