The MAXIGRIP restrained flange adaptor is engineered for secure, tensile-resistant flanged transitions in municipal and industrial water distribution networks. Manufactured from robust EN-GJS ductile iron, this universal wide-tolerance fitting provides an end-load restraint mechanism designed to connect diverse pipe materials, including ductile iron, steel, PEHD (polyethylene), PVC-U, and asbestos cement, directly to standard flanged equipment such as valves, pumps, and metering stations.

Engineered for operating pressures up to PN10/PN16, the MAXIGRIP adaptor accommodates substantial outer diameter variations across nominal diameters from DN50 to DN400. Its advanced mechanical gripping segment assembly delivers full pull-out restraint without requiring external thrust blocks or pipe welding. The internal sealing gasket ensures dynamic watertight integrity under continuous operating pressure while allowing an angular deflection of up to 4 degrees, compensating for minor pipeline misalignments, ground movement, and thermal contraction or expansion.

All ductile iron components are protected with a factory-applied electrostatic powder epoxy coating with a minimum layer thickness of 250 μm in sky blue RAL 5015. This high-integrity protective barrier provides superior corrosion resistance against aggressive soil chemistry and fluid immersion, ensuring long-term operational reliability in buried and chamber installations. The flange drilling conforms to EN 1092-2 standards, ensuring straightforward bolt alignment and reduced installation time on site.
