The Blucast APA series big size restrained flange adaptor provides a robust, tensile-resistant flanged transition for large diameter polyethylene (PE-HD) and PVC-U pressure pipelines. Designed specifically for nominal diameters ranging from DN 300 / OD 355 mm up to DN 600 / OD 630 mm, this fitting creates a fully restrained end-load connection, preventing axial pipe pull-out under operating pressures up to PN16 (16 bar). It eliminates the need for concrete thrust blocks in utility and industrial piping installations, significantly speeding up trench assembly while ensuring total mechanical reliability.

Manufactured from high-grade ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7, the adaptor body delivers exceptional structural strength and resistance to ground movement and hydraulic surges. The internal geometry incorporates an advanced elastomeric EPDM sealing gasket that guarantees immediate hydraulic tightness, coupled with high-tensile gripping teeth. When tightening the flange bolts, these locking teeth firmly engage the outer surface of the PE or PVC pipe, securing the line against axial displacement and severe pressure fluctuations without compromising the thermoplastic pipe wall.

Corrosion protection is engineered to the highest European utility standards with an automated powder epoxy coating applied to a minimum thickness of 250 µm (RAL 5015 sky blue). This coating offers superior barrier protection against aggressive soils, chemical exposure, and microbial growth, making the adaptor certified and completely safe for potable water distribution, municipal water transmission mains, irrigation headers, and industrial process water systems. The flange drilling complies with EN 1092-2 standards for universal compatibility across PN10 and PN16 flange patterns.
