The metric ABS hose connector is a precision transition fitting engineered for connecting rigid thermoplastic piping systems directly to flexible industrial hoses. Produced from gravel grey (RAL 7001) Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), this transition adaptor features a metric solvent cement spigot on one end and a parallel ribbed hose barb on the opposing end. Rated for a nominal pressure of PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), the fitting ensures secure fluid transfers across secondary refrigeration circuits, chilled water lines, water treatment plants, and marine piping networks. The spigot connection integrates directly into metric ABS sockets, valves, or standard fittings using Tangit ABS solvent cement, creating a homogeneous, leak-tight bond. When secured with stainless steel hose clamps, the joint maintains high retention without deforming the thermoplastic core. ABS material offers high impact strength, ductile performance at low temperatures down to minus 40 degrees Celsius, and resistance to common industrial cooling brines, glycols, and diluted chemical media.

Supplied in spigot sizes d20 mm to d40 mm with matching hose barb outer diameters D 20 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, and 40 mm, and overall lengths from L 73 mm to 100 mm. The smooth interior bore maintains laminar flow, limits head loss, and prevents internal encrustation.
