The ecoFIT Hose Connector Metric PE100, SDR11 is an injection-moulded Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) fitting that forms the transition between welded PE100 pipework and a parallel hose connection. One end is a butt fusion spigot in SDR11 geometry, the other a hose shank, so a flexible line can be taken off a rigid industrial polyethylene system without a threaded or bonded intermediate joint.

Six diameters are available, d20 to d63 (DN15 to DN50), all rated PN16 bar in the SDR11 series. The fittings are produced from virgin PE100 resin conforming to EN ISO 15494 for industrial thermoplastic piping, so the spigot is material-identical to the pipe it is welded into and behaves the same way under pressure, temperature and chemical attack. Wall thickness runs from 1.9 mm at d20 to 5.8 mm at d63, and the overall length (Z) from 64 mm to 100 mm, which keeps the built length of a take-off point short where space around a manifold or skid is limited.

The spigot end is prepared for conventional butt fusion and is equally compatible with Georg Fischer IR/IR Plus infrared welding. Infrared fusion is contactless, which suits cooling circuits and process lines where a clean internal profile with reduced bead matters; heated-tool butt fusion remains available on site using standard PE100 parameters.
