The PP long coupler and expansion connector is engineered for gravity soil, waste water discharge, and internal ventilation piping systems inside residential, commercial, and industrial facilities, functioning primarily to absorb axial thermal expansion and contraction in vertical stacks and extended horizontal runs. Manufactured from high-grade polypropylene conforming to SR EN 1451-1, this specialized fitting incorporates an extended socket depth that accommodates linear movements resulting from the material's thermal expansion coefficient of 0.12 mm/m·K, effectively mitigating mechanical stresses on structural anchors, brackets, and pipe penetrations without requiring external expansion loops. Watertight and airtight joint sealing is reliably sustained throughout continuous axial sliding by a factory-fitted elastomeric EPDM lip gasket securely anchored in an engineered internal retaining groove, preventing fluid exfiltration and sewer gas leakage even during building vibration. The fitting operates continuously at liquid temperatures up to 60 degrees C, withstands short-term intermittent hot water surges up to 95 degrees C, and retains structural integrity without brittleness at low ambient temperatures down to -15 degrees C, exhibiting optimal impact resistance in accordance with SR EN 744. Featuring broad chemical inertness across an operational range of pH 2 to pH 12, it provides complete resistance to aggressive solutions, acidic waste, caustic substances, and heavy detergents discharged by domestic washing appliances and industrial processes. The exceptionally smooth internal bore, characterized by a Manning roughness coefficient of 0.01, prevents particulate settlement, scale build-up, and flow restriction, ensuring uninterrupted hydraulic capacity across an engineered operating lifespan of at least 50 years.
