The Georg Fischer PVC-C metric flange adaptor provides a rigid, detachable connection between plastic pipelines and flanged process equipment, including valves, pumps, and instrumentation. Designed for solvent cement jointing with metric PVC-C pipes from d20 mm to d225 mm, this adaptor features a precision-moulded combined sealing face with flat and serrated profiles. This dual configuration optimises contact pressure, preventing gasket extrusion and ensuring leak-tight reliability when compressed with EPDM, FKM, or PTFE profile gaskets.

Manufactured from post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) in Agate Grey RAL 7038, the adaptor is rated for a nominal pressure of PN16 (16 bar at 20 degrees C) and operates from 0 to 80 degrees C under pressure. PVC-C provides superior resistance against aggressive chemical media, including concentrated mineral acids, alkalis, and demineralised water, exceeding conventional PVC-U at high temperatures. The component complies with ISO 15493, DIN 8079, DIN 8080, and ISO 727 dimensional standards.

The adaptor is paired with loose backing flanges in PP-steel or glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-V), interfacing with ISO 7005 PN10, EN 1092-1 PN10, and DIN 2501 bolt patterns.
