The GF Piping Systems ELGEF Plus PE100 monobloc tapping saddle d40mm with integrated Gas Stop (1 to 5 bar operating pressure) provides safe, under-pressure live tapping of polyethylene gas distribution pipelines without gas escape. Manufactured from 100% virgin high-density polyethylene resin certified by the PE100+ Association, this electrofusion fitting is engineered for maximum operational safety and extended service life up to 100 years in buried utility networks. The monobloc construction integrates an internal rotating brass cutter with top and bottom stops, an O-ring sealed cap, a pre-assembled excess flow valve (Pipelife Gas-Stop GS 20/1 or GS 32/1), and 4 mm connection pins.

The built-in Gas-Stop safety device functions as an automatic shut-off valve that instantly stops the gas flow in the event of downstream pipe rupture, severe damage, or accidental third-party pull-out during excavation works. Designed specifically for natural gas and LPG distribution networks operating between 1 and 5 bar, the tapping saddle allows fast installation on main pipes with pipe dimension ratios from SDR 9 to SDR 11. The fitting features visible limited-path fusion indicators to visually verify complete weld execution, a long fusion spigot outlet for straightforward electrofusion or socket connection to the service line (d20 or d32 mm), and an integrated pipe clamping zone.
