The Georg Fischer 90 degrees ABS elbow is engineered for industrial cooling, chilled water distribution, water treatment, and marine piping systems. Designed for reliable solvent cement jointing, this fitting provides a permanent, leak-free directional change with full-bore hydraulic efficiency. Manufactured from high-impact Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) in RAL 7001 gravel grey, the elbow maintains outstanding mechanical toughness and ductile behavior even at sub-zero temperatures, making it an optimal solution for secondary refrigeration loops where metal piping is prone to internal corrosion or condensation damage.

Engineered for demanding utility and process installations, the component accommodates nominal pressures across the PN10 to PN16 spectrum at 20°C depending on diameter, supporting operating envelopes up to 16 bar for small diameters (d20–d25) and 10 bar for standard metric sizes up to d200. The smooth inner surface minimizes head loss and prevents limescale buildup, ensuring stable flow characteristics throughout the facility lifecycle. Assembly is executed through solvent welding utilizing Tangit ABS cement and primer, creating a homogenous chemical bond resistant to thermal cycling and hydraulic shocks.

The fitting is fully compatible with metric Georg Fischer ABS piping systems and standard industrial valving. While ABS retains structural integrity over a broad temperature span, note that larger assemblies exceeding d225 operate up to a continuous limit of +40°C. Supplied across metric dimensions from d20 mm to d200 mm, each elbow conforms to exact dimensional tolerances, simplifying prefabricated pipe spools and on-site positioning.
