Rated for nominal operating pressures of PN10 to PN16 at 20°C, this component covers metric socket sizes from d20 mm to d225 mm alongside imperial inch options. The precise 45-degree geometry provides a significantly lower hydraulic resistance coefficient compared to standard 90-degree elbows, minimising local turbulence, pressure drop, and cumulative pump energy demands across continuous circulation circuits.

Manufactured from high-grade Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene in gravel grey (RAL 7001), the fitting exhibits outstanding mechanical ductileness, high notch impact strength at low operating temperatures, and robust resistance to corrosion, scale accumulation, and chemical degradation. These properties make it particularly suited for chilled water distribution, air conditioning secondary cooling loops, industrial cooling water systems, marine plant utilities, and potable water networks. For metric dimensions up to d225, the material maintains structural reliability across typical chilled and ambient fluid ranges, with large diameters rated up to an operating limit of +40°C.

Assembly is carried out via cold solvent welding to achieve a permanent, leak-free molecular bond. Reliable joint integrity requires proper preparation using Tangit cleaner and Tangit ABS solvent cement, creating a homogeneous connection between pipe spigots and fitting sockets.
