The BLUCAST ductile iron dismantling joint PN10/16 (DJ series) provides longitudinal adjustment and mechanical flexibility in flanged piping, so that inline equipment can be installed, aligned and removed without stressing the adjacent pipeline. Supplied from DN50 to DN150 with an EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron body, EN 1092-2 flange drilling and EPDM sealing, it is used on drinking water distribution, wastewater lines and industrial utility piping to serve flanged gate valves, check valves, flow meters and pumping units.

The telescopic sleeve absorbs axial movement during assembly, while the integrated tie rods lock the joint at the required working length and transfer hydraulic end thrust across the body during service and pressure testing. Elastomeric EPDM gaskets to EN 681 maintain a watertight seal at working pressures up to 16 bar and temperatures from 0 degrees to +80 degrees Celsius; NBR gaskets are available on request.

Corrosion protection is an automated electrostatic powder epoxy coating applied to a minimum thickness of 250 µm in sky blue (RAL 5015). The coating is WRAS approved and the range holds PZH hygienic certification for drinking water contact. Tie bolts and nuts are hot-dip galvanized as standard, with AISI 304 / A2 stainless steel hardware optional for aggressive ground or chemical conditions.
