The BLUCAST PN10 ductile iron dismantling joint provides longitudinal adjustment and facilitates the rapid installation, inspection, and replacement of flanged valves, pumps, flowmeters, and fittings in pipeline systems. Engineered for nominal diameters from DN200 to DN500, this dismantling joint bridges axial gaps and absorbs installation tolerances, allowing maintenance crews to dismantle heavy inline equipment without inducing destructive mechanical stress on adjacent piping. Designed for utility and industrial water distribution networks, it ensures a secure, leak-free flanged interface rated for a continuous working pressure of 10 bar (PN10).

Manufactured in accordance with EN 545 and EN 1092-2 flange drilling standards, the assembly features robust components cast from high-grade ductile cast iron (EN-GJS-500-7). The sealing system employs an elastomeric EPDM gasket compliant with EN 681, providing reliable watertight sealing across operating temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius. High-tensile stainless steel tie rods and fasteners span the flange assembly, enabling precise axial compression of the seal while securing the joint against longitudinal pipeline movements.

Corrosion protection is achieved through an automatic electrostatic powder epoxy coating applied to a minimum thickness of 250 micrometres in sky blue (RAL 5015). This resilient barrier complies with hygienic standards for drinking water distribution and offers exceptional resistance against aggressive soil environments and external mechanical wear.
