The Georg Fischer DIASTAR Ten DA diaphragm valve in PVC-C provides pneumatic double-acting flow control for demanding industrial process piping. Engineered for aggressive chemical handling, water treatment, and acid dosing systems, this valve features a true union design with metric solvent cement sockets from d20 to d63 mm. The true union configuration enables rapid inline assembly and radial removal without disassembling adjoining pipework. Rated for PN10 operating pressures up to 10 bar, the DIASTAR Ten delivers reliable isolation across operating temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius under pressure. Its high-performance thermoplastic body provides outstanding rigidity and dimensional stability in aggressive chemical installations.

At the core of the DIASTAR Ten DA is an optimized internal body geometry that achieves double the flow rate compared to legacy diaphragm valves. This marked reduction in head loss improves pumping efficiency throughout process distribution lines. Maintenance is substantially simplified by a single central housing nut that replaces traditional four-bolt bonnet configurations. This uniform central connection distributes sealing stress evenly across the diaphragm, prevents localized over-compression, and eliminates exposed metal fasteners susceptible to external chemical corrosion.

The integrated double-acting actuator uses pneumatic pressure for both opening and closing cycles, ensuring positive shutoff without relying on mechanical springs. Its pneumatic air connection rotates in 90 degrees increments for flexible air tube routing in confined skids. Available with EPDM or chemically inert PTFE/EPDM diaphragms, the valve provides hermetic isolation between process media and moving mechanical components. Molded from Agate Grey RAL 7038 PVC-C with integrated base mounting inserts, the valve withstands aggressive acids, bases, and salts in demanding industrial environments. Full compliance with ISO and DIN standards ensures seamless integration into existing industrial piping.
