The Georg Fischer DIASTAR Ten ABS pneumatic diaphragm valve with double-acting (DA) actuation is an engineered flow-control solution designed for high-cycle industrial automation, chilled water circuits, marine systems, and process water treatment. Built around an advanced flow-optimised geometry, the DIASTAR Ten delivers up to double the flow rate compared to earlier diaphragm valve generations, drastically reducing line pressure drop and lowering pumping energy requirements. Engineered with metric solvent cement spigots spanning d20 up to d63 (DN15 through DN50), this valve complies with the standardised face-to-face dimensions of EN 558, permitting straightforward drop-in integration and interchangeability in existing industrial pipework.

The valve body is injection-moulded from high-grade Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) in RAL 7001 gravel grey, offering excellent impact strength and dependable chemical resilience against non-oxidising acids, saline solutions, and cooling brines. The core sealing mechanism features a resilient EPDM diaphragm that isolates the working medium entirely from the actuator mechanism, preventing fluid contamination and eliminating internal corrosion risks. Rated for an operating pressure of PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), the valve provides dependable bi-directional shut-off and balanced throttling performance under rigorous operational cycles.

Actuation is handled by a rugged double-acting pneumatic actuator housed in glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF). The pneumatic head features air connections that rotate through 90 degrees, allowing flexible compressed air routing in compact plant layouts. Maintenance is simplified by an innovative central housing nut that replaces four individual body screws, enabling rapid diaphragm inspection without dismounting the valve from the line. For vibration-resistant installation, the valve base integrates stainless steel M6 and M8 threaded inserts for direct mounting on support brackets.
