Transition couplings Georg Fischer iJoint
Georg Fischer iJoint transition couplings and elbows enable direct mechanical connections between polyethylene (PE80, PE100, PEX) piping and threaded metal systems. Combining a UV-stabilised polypropylene copolymer (PP-B) body with corrosion-resistant CW617N brass inserts, these fittings provide reliable transitions to valves, pumps, and metal networks.
Technical characteristics
Designed for fast push-fit installation without pre-disassembling the nut, iJoint metal transition fittings ensure high pull-out resistance and leak-tight performance.
- Operating pressure: PN16 (16 bar MOP)
- Thread interface: CW617N brass with ISO 7-1 male (R) or female (Rp) threads
- Operating temperature: -10 °C to +45 °C
- Sealing gasket: Factory-lubricated food-safe EPDM lip profile
- Pipe compatibility: Metric PE 80, PE 100, and PEX pipes
