The ELGEF Plus PE100 concentric reducer in SDR17 by Georg Fischer is engineered for high-integrity diameter transitions in pressurized utility and industrial piping networks. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene PE100, this spigot fitting is pressure rated for PN10 bar in potable water and industrial fluid systems, and PN5 bar in natural gas distribution networks. The fitting maintains precise dimensional tolerances and structural wall thickness across all variants, ensuring optimal mechanical strength and long-term operating reliability under constant hydraulic loads.

Designed with extended long spigot ends, the reducer provides generous welding zones that accommodate both butt fusion joining according to DVS guidelines and electrofusion welding using standard PEHD couplers. The long cylindrical spigot design guarantees sufficient clearance for alignment clamps, scraping tools, and heating elements, eliminating clamping interference during installation.
