The Georg Fischer 90 degrees ABS tee is an industrial branch fitting engineered for dividing or combining flow streams at a 90-degree angle in thermoplastic piping networks. Manufactured by GF Piping Systems from high-integrity acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this equal tee provides outstanding impact resistance, chemical durability, and hydraulic efficiency. Supplied across Europe by BigWeld, an authorised Georg Fischer distributor, this component is designed for secondary refrigeration, chilled water loops, industrial cooling, potable water distribution, and water treatment systems.

Engineered for low-temperature resilience, ABS fittings retain high ductile toughness without embrittlement under demanding industrial conditions. The smooth internal bore minimises pressure drop, mitigates turbulence, and resists limescale and biofilm formation over decades of operation. With an operating temperature range extending from chilled water services up to +40 degrees C, the tee guarantees dimensional stability and full corrosion immunity, eliminating the rust and scaling typical of metallic piping.

Jointing is performed via cold solvent cement welding using Tangit ABS adhesive and cleaner. The precision-moulded sockets deliver a uniform interference fit and rapid capillary bonding, creating a monolithic chemical weld that equals pipe strength. Available in metric diameters from d20 mm to d225 mm at PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees C) and inch variants at Class E / PN15 (15 bar at 20 degrees C), this fitting offers complete flexibility across industrial installations.
