The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard 90-degree equal tee SDR33 PN10 is an injection-moulded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) branch fitting engineered to divide or merge process flows at a 90-degree angle across dimensions from d90 mm (DN80) up to d225 mm (DN200). Manufactured from high-grade, unpigmented PVDF polymer, this fitting exhibits exceptional chemical inertness against concentrated acids, non-oxidizing and oxidizing agents, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive process chemicals, while remaining thermally stable across an operational temperature range from -20 degrees Celsius to +140 degrees Celsius. Designed with an SDR33 geometry rated for nominal system pressures up to PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), the tee features smooth, controlled internal surfaces with an inner roughness Ra of 0.5 micrometres or less, substantially curbing media buildup, bio-film formation, and flow turbulence. Each connection spigot is dimensioned according to ISO 10931 and optimised for infrared (IR Plus) fusion jointing as well as conventional butt fusion according to DVS guidelines, with sizes d90 mm and d110 mm also supporting bead and crevice free (BCF Plus) fusion for contamination-free piping paths. The fitting is suited for stringent sanitisation regimes, sustaining hot water, steam, chemical, and ozone sanitation cycles without degradation. Certified physiologically non-toxic under USP 25 Class VI and compliant with FDA CFR 21 177.2510, EU 10/2011, ASME BPE, DIBt, and listed under FM-4910 for cleanroom safety, every unit is permanently embossed with material, dimensional, pressure rating, and lot details to guarantee end-to-end traceability across pharmaceutical purified water loops, microelectronics DI water systems, and industrial chemical distribution lines.
