Manufactured by Georg Fischer, the SYGEF Standard end cap PVDF d16-63mm PN16 is an unpigmented polyvinylidene fluoride socket fusion fitting designed for the permanent, leak-tight termination of metric piping runs in ultra-pure water and demanding chemical distribution networks. Produced in accordance with ISO 10931 standards, this high-performance end termination component features an opaque PVDF construction with a density of approximately 1.78 g/cm³, providing exceptional mechanical rigidity with a tensile modulus exceeding 1800 N/mm² and superior resistance to mechanical fatigue. Engineered to withstand operating pressures up to PN16 (16 bar) and an expansive operating temperature envelope from -20 degrees Celsius to +140 degrees Celsius, it demonstrates broad chemical compatibility against concentrated inorganic acids, oxidizing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and halogens.
