The PP elbow 45 degrees is an injection-moulded polypropylene fitting engineered for non-pressure domestic soil, waste discharge, and internal ventilation piping systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Designed in accordance with standard SR EN 1451-1, the fitting facilitates smooth 45-degree directional transitions in gravity drainage lines, ensuring optimal hydraulic flow with minimal head loss. Connection is achieved via a precision push-fit socket equipped with a factory-fitted elastomeric EPDM lip seal, providing immediate, watertight joint integrity under manual assembly without the necessity of solvent cements, welding, or mechanical fasteners. The elastomeric socket interface simultaneously functions as an integral expansion joint to accommodate cyclic thermal linear movement based on a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.12 mm/m·K, while absorbing structural vibrations and minor building deflections. Polypropylene construction delivers superior chemical resistance across a broad pH spectrum from 2 to 12, withstanding continuous exposure to aggressive domestic detergents, hot laundry or dishwasher wastewater, diluted caustic solutions, and organic salts. Mechanically resilient with high impact resistance at standard and sub-zero conditions down to -15 degrees without embrittlement, the elbow maintains structural stability under operational wastewater temperatures of 60 degrees continuously and peak thermal surges up to 95 degrees for short durations. The ultra-smooth internal bore exhibits a low Manning roughness coefficient of 0.01, preventing sediment accumulation, incrustation, and flow abrasion from suspended solids to ensure an estimated service lifespan of at least 50 years.
