The PP double socket repair coupler HTU is an engineered polypropylene fitting developed for in-house soil, waste discharge, and gravity drainage networks, providing an effective push-fit connection for maintenance interventions, section repairs, and system modifications inside residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Manufactured without an internal central stop, this slide coupler glides completely along the pipe exterior, allowing installers to bridge cut pipe sections or insert new junctions into existing horizontal collectors and vertical stacks without displacing the surrounding pipeline infrastructure. The fitting is injection-moulded from durable polypropylene with proven chemical resistance against domestic effluents, laundry detergents, commercial wastewater, and aggressive media across an operating pH range from 2 to 12. Factory-fitted synthetic elastomeric EPDM lip gaskets seated within precision-profiled socket grooves guarantee long-term hydraulic sealing against leaks and foul sewer gases, accommodating structural vibration, permissible angular deflections, and axial movements resulting from continuous thermal expansion. With an operating temperature profile rated for continuous service up to 60 degrees Celsius and intermittent surge discharge up to 95 degrees Celsius, as well as cold impact resistance down to -15 degrees Celsius, the coupler retains its mechanical toughness and structural integrity under demanding operating conditions. The hydraulically smooth interior prevents scale deposition, incrustation, and flow restriction, maintaining optimal discharge capacity throughout its operating life. Designed for rapid manual push-together jointing without adhesives or specialized welding tools, the TeraPlast HTU repair sleeve is fully compatible with standardized polypropylene drainage pipes manufactured to SR EN 1451-1, offering a projected service lifetime of at least 50 years in building gravity drainage and internal ventilation networks.
